Had to quit watching and missed last 5 minutes of third and 4th quarter. Heard on radio peanut and bowens did work early in the 4th. Only ran the ball 4 times in the third Q? Crazy
Did Gunner come back around?

For the game, quarterback Gunner Stockton went 3-of-13 on passes that traveled at least 10 yards in the air

Listened to it on WSB on way home and watched 2nd half when I got home. We definitely took our foot off the gas in the 3rd quarter for some reason and backups on D didn’t play all that great, but we played well overall. Great environment in Sanford today, a beautiful day, and a Dawgs win, I have no complaints.

Abandoning the run game, Gunner seemed out of sync, no offensive rhythm.

Abandoning the run game,
You are the first person in the history of football to equate throwing the football to taking the foot off the gas.
When we get 10 yards a carry running duo, I suppose that is aggressive playcalling?

We only ran 53 plays on offense due to the short fields and turnovers

And playing backups on offense and defense.
About 9:45 seconds and playing our 3s on defense and 2nd string QB probably stole 2 possessions.

It's not common to have that one play so early in the game, where you go from, "I think we have a chance here", to, "Pass me one of those mini bottles."

In last year's SECCG, I'd say the blocked punt vs Bama was the Tide faithful's exit ramp.
No, the game wasn't out of hand. It had really just gotten started, but once that play happened the way it did, I knew in my soul that we were going to win that one walking away.

Cole and Quintavious are two players moving a lot faster now that they know what they're doing. Quintavious quickly read the play and made a touchdown saving tackle of Mateer early in the 2nd quarter (since Raylen was being blatantly wrapped up and tackled by an Oklahoma OL while the back judge swallowed his flag). Kyron Jones was one I noticed on Saturday moving slower than I recall. Couldn't tell if he wasn't sure of the assignment or something else.

With all due respect to CC… didn’t Simmons just have a 5 sack game plus more TFL’s? He single handily messed up Tennessee. Cole is becoming a monster though.

2 fumble recoveries and an 85 yard return on top of the freaky film make a legitimate argument for Cole.
I think Oklahoma finished with 11 yards rushing.

Only one of them was named SEC defensive player of the week
