I don't see it as that bad. Flip the close games, and the SEC would be 6-2. Auburn and Florida lost by 2, obviously one play in a 40 minute game. Kentucky lost by 4, obviously 2 plays in 40 minutes. Only South Carolina and Miss State got dominated.
