Okay. Bravado asides. Both schools actually care about each other.

Truth. Flame if you want, but A&M and Texas actually do respect each other.

I’ve only heard Kyle field silenced by another school once. And it was the Longhorns in 1999. Not by the football team, but by their band. There was not a dry eye in the place as they played our school song in tribute to the fallen.

They can be classy. I’ve seen it happen.

And on A&Ms side, when Bevo gets sick, do you know where he goes? To Texas A&M. There’s not a better place in the world to treat such an animal and the Aggies put all the trash talk aside and can behave classy too.

So the schools actually do care about each other and respect other. Despite all the bull crap you hear on the internet.

That’s the truth. One of my best friends is a Longhorn. We meet up and fish and play golf every year.

I agree that when shite gets real, the schools become not "little bro and big bro" but just "bros."

The band tribute was a goosebumps moment for sure.

You know it’s true. Although I probably shouldn’t have said it the day before we play them. Noted.

My son is considering A&M for his safety school if he doesn’t get into Texas. If he goes I’ll hate you 1% less.

Can you imagine how horrendous the Texas trolls will be if they get to and win the SECCG in their first season?

I don't think anyone wants that.

Do you ever post anything even semi-decent? Your shite talk isn’t even clever. You add nothing to this site.

Yeah yeah yeah.

We get it.

At the end of the day all of you worship the state of Texas.

Steers and queers. Nothing one good Marine with a rifle couldn't mop up.

absolutely. 2 of my close friends and a cousin are aggie grads. We're all happy to have this game back.
...and they have so much smack payback on the ready for me if we should lose.

Truth indeed. I can’t tell you how many awesome Aggie friends I have. Collectively when they get together as fans they can drive me nuts. But when it comes down to it, much love and respect indeed.

FWIW if my daughter goes to a big school in Texas I hope it’s A&M. You can get in trouble anywhere but I like the idea of her being in a smaller college town. Also their Catholic student center is off the charts awesome.

But I hope the Horns kick their asses tomorrow! :)

The older I get, the banter is more amusing to me than anything else. I’m much more inclined to hate OU instead of A&M nowadays tbh. Except for that rudedogrules dewsh. He’s easy to hate.

I grew up in a very small South Texas town with Longhorn and Aggie cousins, and LH and Aggie friends, and we are still all good with each other. One of my close Longhorn cousins married an Aggie, and their kids seemed to turn out pretty good…

Now living a long way from my home town, I miss hearing the opposing sides yelling at the TV during the Texas / Aggie game during big family Thanksgiving gatherings long ago…

You would think time and distance would soften my passion for a game played by almost kids 1,000 miles away. But my Longhorn flag is flying in front of our house right now, and I want to beat you ags more than ever…
