And what did Dickey Nutt do at Arkansas State that left it in such bad shape? I don't pretend to know. I'm asking. Just looking at his record, he was .500 or better in four of the five seasons that predated that arrival of John Brady. Brady hasn't managed much better.

I don't know. He turned down NCST last year which shocked the hell out of me, he may not leave WSU, who knows.

You know that SLU opened new arena on campus, major metro area, and probably one of the schools that can get into Chicago and Memphis due to proximity. Plus they pay well.

Almost. He was at Winthrop and wanted the Arkansas job, but got passed over by Frank and then he went to WSU after Turgeon went to A&M.

The guy has put you above where you should be in basketball, so it would be stupid to fire him.
No big time coach will come to State and you will settle for a coach below the level of Stans. State will then be like aubie in baskeball (maybe as good as us, if you'r lucky).
