Had Justin Fields stayed at Georgia for four years, he could have been the backup QB for Bennett in the last NC game.

Champions fight back no matter the score. Georgia refused to lose

Key offensive players go down with injuries paving the way for the UGA comeback. Where have we seen that before?
McConkey and Washington go down with injuries and backups step in and perform. Too bad Ohio State can't say the same.

Justin would have been running the scout team if he had stayed

tOSU A+ game < UGA C- performance

THE Ohio state is a bunch of sore losers. I remember THE Ohio st crowd whining after UGA beat them in ‘93 at the Citrus Bowl too
Isn’t using the THE cute! They are SO important - at least in their minds

Perhaps so for the first 3 quarters; however, it's a 4-quarter game and anyone who knows this game knows that of all the 4 quarters played, the 4th quarter is the single-most important of the bunch.
UGA went to work in the 4th and shut down OSU and, as a result, managed to pull out the win. No surprise here -- just giddy excitement.

Well when the best player on the field was out of the game then yea it's a bit easier to do so.
I don't think people should be mad about losing a football game on a last second missed field goal. It was a hell of a game and was fun to watch

If you think giving up 42 pts and 533 yds is an A+ performance…OK. Embarrassing defense. Last 2 years have been absolutely brutal.

I think you might be a smidge biased, so I'll throw some stats at you. If the refs hadn't let their o-line hold and tackle our d-line all night, the game would have been lopsided in favor of UGA.
OSU UGA
348 PASS YDS 398
119 RUSH YDS 134
467 TOTAL YDS 532

Stroud had the best game of his life. Kid's a competitor and he left it all on the field.

Meanwhile, uga had defenders dropping all over the place. It was a wash.

As an LSU fan (not UGA), don't forget the massive numbers of holding calls that should have been called on Ohio State. Could have been 3 just on the last scramble!

There was that one flashback to the tOSU/UGA Citrus Bowl where he talked about the Buckeyes as "we", but since was the QB in that game, I'll give him that one.
Very generous of you.

First, I find it ironic that Herby basically got run out of Columbus because Ohio State fans thought he was TOO critical of Ohio State in his broadcasts.
And I can't remember which broadcaster said it but he said this. "Everybody thinks you are for the other team when you do a broadcast. I just try to make sure that the complaining is even between the two groups of fans."
Finally, winning or losing a game on a last second field goal...
Be gracious if you are the winner. Be proud but and not bitter if you are the loser. In reality it is pretty much like a flip of the coin as to whether you would be the winner or loser.
Games that come down to that kind of play are usually great games and both teams deserve to be congratulated.
So glad we had two outstanding semis for once.
