The playoff committee knows Georgia turned the ball over 4 times. Had Georgia not gave the game away and straight up got their arse kicked it would be different.
Beating ND and Florida, two teams significantly better than SC shows that Georgia losing to SC via 4 turnovers was just a fluke.

Sorry a loss at home to a 4-5 team is worse. In my opinion. You play the teams on your schedule. Bama was blowing out everyone. UGA hasn’t won convincingly against weaker teams outside of mighty Ark State and Murray state. 4 field goals against Mizzou. Tied 0-0 with QB-less UK at home at halftime. Loss to losing team at home in USCe. Eeking out a win vs. ND at home.

So if Georgia wins out during the RS they remain at 4. But, if they lose in the SEC championship game they get bumped by the #5 team, who will be Alabama who sits at home and watches the SEC championship game.

I’m guessing the committee is looking at Georgia’s defense when they put us a 4. They are getting hot right now and could win us a championship like the Bama of old used to win with.

Not really, if they beat Utah and win the PAC 12 they will definitely have a better resume. Their Auburn loss was not a bad loss.
