2011- Lost to Florida in Gator Bowl

For some stupid reason, Ohio St chose to play in this instead of self-imposing a bowl ban. So instead they got a postseason ban the next season when they went 12-0.

They did beat Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl in 2010 season, but had to vacate the win due to cheating.

They actually chose to vacate that (along with their other 11 wins from the 2010 season).

Oh snap! I forgot we beat them!

You must be a youngin’. Those wins are heavily ingrained in the memories of Gamecocks who are old enough to have watched those games.

Got beat by a THIRD string qb

Alabama didn't ruin the trend, Arkansas did. And that third string qb won the national title.

That Big 10 schedule doesnt prepare them to play the speed of the top SEC schools on Offense or defense. Thus the terrible record when playing SEC Schools.
