Why did they play the line of scrimmage like that.... Freeman blew this game with that play call.

Damn… Day actually called (2) sucker QB draw plays just to suck ND in… then deep. Not too shabby.

They bet on the short underneath throw to get the 1st down to run the clock out, not the "go for the throat" throw...

They were not playing the 1st down line. They stacked the box.

They should have been in some type of cover 2, playing the 1st down line , and double teaming #4.

Would have loved to seen notre dame's Morrison against smith. That might have changed the outcome of the game
