Pear-sonally I will say, if it does happen, I'm looking forward to it.
The games were more exciting and this board was certainly more fun (from a basketball standpoint) when he was there.
We had some epic ones back during the Trendon Watford years. (And coincidentally his high school coach back in Alabama was Bucky McMillan.)

I will never stop prepearing you for what is coming. THE Pear is returning to repear our basketball program that has been compeared to a steaming pile of burning human feces. Maybe Wade can pearachute onto the field for the LSU/Clemson game. I think that would pearticularly be a pearfect way to prepear the fanbase for what is to come.

LSU is selling themselves short going for Wade imo. He is a good coach but he has been around for a long time now without much to show for it. I think there are better coaches out there but LSU has been so bad maybe this is the best they can do
Find another coach with his resume at his age and get back with us. He’s still young. The reality is that Wade and Dale Brown are the two best coaches we’ve had. Outside of a handful of Final Four runs, our MBB program has sucked for the most part due to lack of booster support. Like Brown, Wade drug them kicking and screaming to do what needed to be done. You’ve got to have a guy like that at LSU if anything is going to get done. McMahon is the polar opposite.

I think about you every time I see a new thread on tGeneral.
That freaking dancing pear emoji we used to (over)use all the time is gone, dammit. The whole site is offline.
I think Looney showed me that one way back when and taught me how to resize it on the fly.

I will be honest here, that is part of what I love and it's why I like Lane Kiffin now more than I did when he was hired. I absolutely love that hate. I loved that Wade's teams were looked at as the bad guy.
Of course you love the the hate. You are an attention whore and for whores, any kind of attention is good.
Whores just want to be acknowledged and have the spotlight on them. With a whore, you can beat them or love them; it doesn't matter as long as you are focused on them.
The coaches can be losers that have never accomplished hardly anything at all, like Kiffin and Wade, but as long as they are getting attention the attention whore fans will be happy.

You have a coach’s paraphernalia? That’s kinda weird.

LSU could hire Cignetti and Calipari and most people on this Bourbon St Mardi Gras porta potty shitwater cesspool of a board would tell us they are bad hires. Here are the facts:
- Kiffin won 10-11 games a year at fricking Ole Miss over a 5 year period. No one has ever done that.
- Outside of his first year here (where we damn near made the NCAAT), Wade never finished below 3rd in the SEC and had a 60+% win percentage here, including a conference title. He has brought 5 different schools to the NCAAT and he's not even 45 years old yet.

But he never won anything of note, just slightly more games than previous Ole Miss coaches.

He's not a high level winner though, just like Kiffin. They both do just enough to get by and will never really amount to much. One has the mind of a child, dresses like a teenager, and dates freshman teen college girls, and one looks like a piece of fruit.

I seem to recall many threads bragging about Ole Miss winning a bunch of NY6 bowls around here but you're not wrong that by Bama or LSU standards that doesn't mean shite. How many coaches that have been hired recently had "won anything of note" at their previous stops though?
