so they beat a 3rd rate team from a 2nd rate conference and now they are a SEC power?

Bama is going to be tough this year. IMO. I think they will have Hell, dethroning us as the best team in the West, but we won't keep beating them year in and year out.

We are going to beat them on the lines. Let's see what SJPW can do with no running game and our D-line chasing him around all night. I'm not scared, can't wait!

I can't wait either. I think we will win this year. IMO it is silly to think Bama won't be a good football team with Saban at the helm though. His blitzing packages are going to make us ask a lot out of Hatch and Lee. I'm glad it is a home game this year.

THey looked pretty good. I was impressed on how physical they were. It should be a great game.

This is true, but I have faith that the Wizard will put our qbs in good positions to make enough plays to win. We won't need many because our D will come up big for us.

While I am starting to sip a little of the kool-aid, (it tastes so good)I am still fairly grounded in my optimism.

Bama still has a lot of inexperience they have to cover up and any key injuries could be fatal for any type of run at the west.

The thing that I do like is the fact that this current offense is pretty flexible and Bama does have the talent in some areas to exploit several defensive sets. While the Clemson game remained very conservative, Bama does have deep threat and big play capabilities. This offense is designed to take what the defense gives and make them pay one way or the other, and I would dare say that the receiver corps is just as good as last year or better.

The only bad thing about an offensive shootout would be the tiring of a young defense. They would be prone to more mistakes if they were on the field for prolonged periods of time. Bama's great defensive stats from this weekend were padded by the offense staying on the field for so long.

Bama is not even close to having the depth that LSU has on off. or def. lines. That is the key to winning championships in SEC

This is definetely true. Our young guys has ONE GOOD GAME, that is all. Our depth will be an issue all year. Now, if we had 12 deep at all positions like you guys , I would be a little more excited about our chances.
