re: Is Colorado in Phase 1 now?

The Post had an article today about stay at home. It said the reason we haven't had it and may not have it is there isn't any money left for it. The stimulus and fed enhanced unemployment last time enabled it.
Honestly, who the frick knows what they are going to do. If the hospitals start to fill up they will have to do something.

I'd order beans online. Most if not all of those good shops you used to go to will ship you beans. All the beans at the grocery stores taste burnt to me.

Wife did Larson’s last year and I thought it was closer to $130 for the season. I ride and own all my gear. I’m late to the game on the junior trade this year as always. I’m gonna wait for everything to open before I rent the family’s ski gear.
I expect full blown frickery all season. I have several buddies who who didn’t get passes at all. I would be in that boat if not for my kids.

Where'd you rent from? I just tried to book an appt for Epic Junior trade, jeez. I guess we will be getting the kids stuff through Snobahn. They are high but we get the member discount and it is probably new.
I am starting to wonder if we are really going to have a season. All the Denver metro schools are going back to online which at the very least kills my weekday plans as everyone will be up the hill on good days if no one has school.

whole frozen turkeys for $.19 a lb. in the 10 lb. and up range if you buy at least $30 worth of other groceries.
Normal price this week according to the ad is $.39 a lb. Can't beat that price for turkey.
So you can normally buy a 14 lb turkey for $5? I can't get a 3lb chicken that cheap. I'm not sure I would eat that turkey.

What exactly does this machine the OP is looking at do to justify a $1900 price tag? The site didn't really give many details. What kind of coffee are you drinking?

You best be praying and dancing snow dances. There is none right now and its been 65 and sunny.
Covid numbers in Denver and Colorado as a whole are not doing well. I'm starting to get some doubt about this season.

So Thursday to Sunday, you have to add a 3-4 hr cushion on your return drive Sunday for ski traffic. It can get really shitty. If there is weather it can get worse. The drive is pretty though.
There is a 0% chance of a commercial route from BR to Aspen direct. None.

What time of year and what day of the week?
I would probably pony up the extra $300 and fly but it is worth mentioning that when Aspen gets weather you are not taking off or landing. They don't mess around with that.

re: Colorado in Summer - Need Suggestions (Updated)

Sounds like you know where you are going but I will play along. I will assume you have never been here before and won't come back.
Not sure when you arrive in Denver on the 1st but you should head south to the Springs. Drive through Garden of the Gods and hit up Pike's Peak. Dinner in Manitou Springs at Crystal Park Cantina.
2nd head south to Sand Dunes National Park. From there head over to Pagosa Springs for the night and a soak.
3rd head over to Durango then take 550 north up to Ridgeway then west over to Telluride.
4th, just stay in Telluride and relax for a day.
5th head over to Crested Butte with a quick detour to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
6th head south out of CB then go east towards Spring Creek and follow the Taylor River to Cottonwood Pass then over into BV. Here is where things get tricky. If Independence Pass is open you need to go over into Aspen and up to Maroon Bells then up valley to Glenwood for the night. If it is still closed then head up through Leadville and Minturn then Vail and over to Breck for the night.
7th you can head over to Estes through Winter Park, Granby, Grand Lake then through the park to get over to Estes.
As far as fishing, early June usually sucks unless you are fishing below a damn. I would do a float trip instead of a wade trip. I have caught some hogs on the upper Colorado in May/June.
Anything high elevation will hopefully be snowed in with lower elevations mud. You will see most of the state on this route, only really missing Steamboat and Grand Nothing. It sucks here and you should tell your friends.

Well from the interview above their plan to afford the dividend is hope. People serve life sentences based on hope but hope is not a plan. I'm curious to see how their "it cant get any worse" strategy serves them.

Well they’ve stopped 401k matches and are laying off about 2000 people. If that doesn’t motivate the remaining employees to do their best....I guess they can try caffeine in the water coolers next.
My buddy has a short position on em and he was worried they would cut the dividend and the price would increase because it was being run as a real business.
With OPEC+ members grumbling about keeping output cuts I don’t see any good news for oil prices on the horizon. If you own this stock it might be time to make some decisions about where it is going and are you staying along for the ride.
