they tried to keep your team in it.

bull shite fouls in the second half.

they called a defensive foul and offensive foul on the same play. a charge and a block on moody's drive.

Thats not possible.

they were just making up rules.

that one miraculous drive and moody made the shot, was an and 1. we didnt get any free throws or the bucket.

your team was shite and couldnt shoot at all. except in garbage time when our subs were in.

Rebs should have won by 25 pts easy.. and we are mediocre at best

One of the first things I noticed with the move to the SEC was how much better the football refs were and how very much worse the bball refs were.

Every game in the SEC is awful. It's legitimately not enjoyable to watch when there's a foul every 30 seconds because someone brushed their arm against another player.

You are an idiot

Big Time home cooking. Worst officiating of the season against Mizzou

Rosburg called for some of the most ridiculous touch fouls, Ole Miss fouling like crazy with no calls...over the back all night long

Nope. Officials had nothing to do with the outcome. If OM hadn't missed so many free throws and Mizzou hadn't shot over 50% from behind the arc in the first half, it would have been a total runaway. As it was, the much better team won.

If Missouri fan is so upset we can always send you back to the Big XII & exchange you out for TCU.

I'm not sure if it was 'home cooking' or not but I totally agree that it was terrible officiating.

Block/charge officially did it to me.. I've never in my life seen such a thing.

It was bad, but Pelphrey seemed to agree with OP.

I'm assuming we won by the comments??

I don't watch that shite anymore because of the refs. They are a freaking joke and totally turn me off to basketball.

Sad because we have this new pavilion and basketball should be fun right about now.

The officiating was bad, but not one-sided as some MO posters suggest. Ticky-tack fouls went against MO in the first half and against OM in the second.

Moody drove the lane late in the second half - Moody was called for the charge and the defender was called for a block. Like flipping a coin and saying it is both heads and tails.

That was so weird....a double foul on a legitimate play?

SEC basketball refs are awful. Every reffing crew will miss some calls in a game, but the SEC refs miss calls almost every possession. The run into the opposing player and flop gets called more times than I have ever seen in my entire life combined.

Don't think it would have made a difference in the outcome of the game because we went on a drought, as usual, but damn if the refs didn't cost us a shot at it.

We can't blame the refs for the lose. But the officiating was beyond incompetent. The refs in this conference are so bad, I don't see the point in rebuilding our bball team

Spoke with someone today who was in the coaches office after the game and at some point the coaches had a conversation about that charge/block call and nobody on the staff had ever seen it called like that on the floor and that they had a large laugh about it..

Just thought I'd share that.
