You hate allowing teams to take time outs when the ball isn't in play?

You get time outs to use to your advantage. I think it's silly to bitch about that rule.

That probably took the life out of Auburn. The nail in the coffin would be a long drive by Bama to start the second half.

I think Auburn's defense has played extremely well.

Yeah, 17-0 would be pretty tough to come back from for AU.

We can't score 17 unless our defense gets a pick six or something. You guys really can't understand how bad this offense is...

These officials suck. Saban called the time out ang the official waited for a second then looked like he just was taking a summer stroll before he blew his whistle and signaled for a stoppage of play.

How can you argue with his results though? If he hadn't called the T.O. Auburn's on board...

i don't hate allowing teams to call a timeout. But, i hate that a ref will go wait by the coach like a whipping boy and call it immediately. the refs need to go on the field and watch the game and force the coaches to call a TO just like at any other time.

I was shocked he missed it. Byrum's recount of making it twice versus Florida was that it wasn't a big deal and he just had to do what he did before to make it again.

Didn't work out so well that time

Before the play, Saban called the official over to the sideline and told him, "stand right here, I'm going to call a timeout, when I do you wait and let the play go on...we're going to break their hearts...so you just stand here until I need you."

The official replied, "yes Sir."

I was wondering where their 3 points went, now I see. In Saban's pocket. Roll the money Tide, Roll.

Easy solution, SEC should set down a rule, next two conference vacancies must be filled by African Americans. I understand Tubbervile is actually going to propose this new rule at the next conference meeting.
