I would still be pissed at JFF and would hold him out of the first quarter of Sam Houston, just to make the point clear. If he keeps it up, bench his arse, burn KH's shirt and start him for the rest of the year.
Seriously?

I'm thinking this could be like 09, where offense disappears for a while but our sick D always keeps us in it

Why is everyone so high on the vt d line? I thought they were weak all around this year.

Dead-arse serious. Dude has already done a shite-load of shite to embarrass A&M. He needs to knock it off or he's gone.

Posi-tider talking points:
Leading time of possession 15:12 to 14:48
3rd Down Conversion 4-9 vs 2-9 for Va Tech
Leading yards per pass 4.8 to 2.9
Have scored with offense, defense and special teams
This is the first time that Alabama has scored two special teams touchdowns in a game since September 6, 2008 against Tulane.
Alabama's Christion Jones is the second player in the last ten seasons and sixth since 2000 with a punt return and kick return TD in the same game.
The punt return TD by Christion Jones was the 1st by an Alabama player since Marquis Maze on Sept. 24, 2011 vs Arkansas.
This is the first time since September 24, 2011, that Alabama has scored two non-offensive touchdowns. That was also the last time before today that the Crimson Tide returned a punt for a score.
Oh, and that 77 yd TD run Bama surrendered, was the 2nd longest rush play in the last 10 yrs, so we're good for another 10 now.

Difference from 09 is games like USCe where our OL and run game could bail us out and eat up 7-8 minute touchdown drives. Cristobal needs to be fricking giving every one of our starters the business. They look lost out there.

honestly, this will be one of the best front 7's we will face all year. If we get by these guys, we can only get better. All they need is a few snaps together. Hopefully Nick lets them play the whole game to get as many real game snaps as possible before aTm
Only other team you play with anything that resembles a defense is LSU. Who else.. Georgia St? Kentucky? Colorado St? Chattanooga?
It's a USC-w schedule for the Tide this year. Should be easy waters for 90% of the year.

I've a feeling, Saban will be giving Cristobal the business as well.

We'd better see some good OL play in the second half, or I'm going to be pissed

But what would happen to all the jizz jars?

We won't face another DL like VT until LSU. So we have time to get better there. But if we continue to play like this on offense we will drop a game before then.

exactly my point. once we get past this game, we have a while to let the oline gel before they get a real test again.

28-10 and Bama's O is playing like crap. Hopefully, Bama will get their minds right. They have scored TD's in every phase of the game...
Complete team effort....

Cristobal is clearly a plant from the U sent to avenge the 92 National Championship.

Does anyone else think that Fowler looks really timid out there? It's not that he looks slow, he just seems to be shying away from contact, which is highly unusual for him pre-injury.

who here thinks they have a better defense than VT?

This is our strength...
James Gayle DE - will be in the NFL..played injured all last year...
Luther Maddy - very quick and strong DT who blew up all lines last year...but you would not know as our offense sucks so much the guys get tired
Hopkins - Sr DT who has lots of experience and is a great run stopper
JR Collins or Dadi - the other DEs are both experienced and have taken over games..
We have pretty good depth also..
But these guys are usually on the field way too long and get tired...
We will have the best defense in the ACC this year...(not that is much to say..but we are not pushovers)
