Yeah, because Mallett is just as fast and mobile as Masoli.

Mallett could run Oregon's offense to a T.

Mallett is the biggest choke artist I've ever seen.

All LSU needs to do is pressure him and he's throwing more INT's than Jarrett Lee would off his back foot.

Arkansas hasn't faced a defense since Alabama. And Mallett chocked that shite away because he was scared to death.

LSU blitzes more and hits the QB more. Mallett is fricked.

Prominentwon has it right.

Yes LSU gave up 35 to ole miss, because masoli can run, 6'7" lead footed Mallet will sit in the pocket and LSU will be in his face all night having him wishing he was back home in the double-wide.

^ This - which is why you Tigers need to put more money on LSU so that the line will move below -4 Ark.

Mallet's best bud in the world right now is Davis.......if Davis is off, the Hogs lose big.

Well, USCe leads the conference in sacks and our offense did fine there. You guys are actually a bit below us in that and the TFL category. Don't act like your team is the only one in the SEC that can rush the passer. From what I've seen you get a lot of coverage sacks from having a dominant secondary. Your Dline IS better than last year though...

If Jefferson goes back to pre-Bama form, you guys better hope your defense is stellar.

Piggies-3

You can point to the Auburn and Ole Miss games all you want. But the fact is, Arkansas does not play the same kind of offense. The LSU D will smash Arkansas. It won't be pretty and actually, I would be worried about Mallet making it out of the game without serious injury. In fact, for his sake, he should probably develop an "injury" during practice this week to save his NFL future.

The only thing that has killed LSU this year is a QB that can run the ball really really well, CAM and Masoli both big physical runners and LSU was so worried about that, that OLE misses little quick midget was able run on us b/c they were so worried about Masoli.... Arkie doesn't have that same threat and the Line and the LB's should be able to seize any running attempts Arky has ....Mallets Arm on the other hand can be very dangerous if he is on. This game will be close as always, but I think LSU's momentum and the fact that Arky won and isn't pissed off playing this weekend helps...

21-17 LSU

28-24 LSU will be a good game, but LSU peaks this time of year and we will get to the QB. He is not mobile like Newton and this will be the difference.
