Yep. Our LBers play defensive and scared, then take horrible routes to the ball carrier. And it happens over and over and over again. I fail to see how the young guys could be that much worse. At least we could get our future players experience.
Darren Bates was the only player who I was kinda impressed with who plays LB for us tonight, and that's saying something.

What about the conditioning of the defense? Looked very tired too?

Well if you were to tell me before the game we would hold TBoyd to 208 yds and 1 TD (I realize they dropped some, but that is part of the game). I would be highly skeptical. Just as if you would have said Clemson would rush for 320, I would have said no way.
Offense I hope they throw more to Lutz and rush more. Yep will be interesting to see how they respond. I still see we have an issue with wrapping up and finishing a tackle. Grrr

Clemson is above average on O.

That's probably the only HUNH offense we play all year, and as long as the rest of our opponents decide to run it against us this season, our conditioning will be better, I hope.

Conditioning could have played a part, hope not. I also wish there was a way not having Dismukes effected our O. I am sure had Sammy been there, Boyd would have had a lot more completions, TD's, and yards.

what is HUNH in that context?

Did Frost even see the field? I know McKinzy didn't. At some point you have to play some studs at linebacker even if they don't know the assignments. Holland and Evans are mediocre.

What about A&M?
I really liked how we ran the ball but it's like we have no other receivers or tight-ends?

Considering how much shotgun we played, I feel like it could've played a role. A lot of Tunde's snaps were all over the place when we were in shotgun.

Both Cass and Frost are listed in the Player Participation stats on auburntigers.com
Played Special Teams if I had to guess.

I can't tell you exactly what to expect next week because there is noway we tipped our hand tonight.
I can say that we are deep at the RB with out a drop off in talent. So I would expect us to run 50 to 55% of the time.
Our biggest improvement is in the passing game. Major shift in our play book.

It definitely had an effect, especially with a nervous timid qb. That just gave him another reason to be nervous.. Frazier is going to have to learn he just faced the worst case scenario so there's nothing left to be nervous about.

I noticed every time he scrambled, he always had the ball held out in the air, as if he was continually looking to throw it. Sometimes, you just gotta tuck it in close and take off. We all know he has the speed to get out in the open and make some people miss.

Great points.
LCT
I agree, Frazier needs to be more decisive. He waited too long to tuck and run, and he waited too long in passing situations. That will come though as we move on.
