I would just like to put this out there since talking head on ESPNU just mentioned, UGA's DL and OLBs have no lack of talent. The starting ILBs are good, just not very fast. However, he is right that the secondary will be razor thin this year. TBH, I really wish that Harvey-Clemons could have lived without the ganja. He will be missed.

Did Muschamp reach out to any other coaches in last year's struggles? "Unfortunately, all the guys I know really well will lie to me now."

I will say this:

Muschamp is giving out some great info. Being very vocal about certain behind the scenes situations and it's really entertaining to listen to.

ETA: What he just said about guys leaving early was awesome.

I like Muschamp. I don't know how things will end at UF but I think he'll always be able to get a top job as a DC

Also, which one of you Gumps is reporting from "Touchdown Alabama"

It would not be hard, UF's offenses have sucked under him.

So you're saying he's lying about that?

Would Florida fans prefer dominant defenses or dominant offenses and average units on the other side of the ball?

Assume you can't have both like y'all did in 2008.

its hard to assume you can't have both, just can't see a Muschamp coached defense being bad. But with that said, I'd love to see dominant offenses again.

One thing I've always liked about WM in front of a mic is how informative he is. Always gives a ton of information.

Also, 8 open practices in August.

We look forward to Pruitt leading us to the promised land in the next 2-3 years, taking a head coaching gig, Muschamp getting canned and then taking over at DC for Pruitt. Personally, I'm very excited about it.

Yeah, I know, but let me dream.

Think LSU from 2009 to 2011 in terms of dominant defenses and average offenses.

Think Arkansas from 2009 to 2011 in terms of dominant offenses and average defenses.

Then Richt retiring and Muschamp taking over

I've said this before with the caveat that Mark Richt is likely still the HC. This could be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective

Pruitt's rise has been nothing short of meteoric.

I remember when he was hired from Hoover HS to Alabama as Director of Player Development.

Then again, I could have a ridiculous defense in Tallahassee with that cupcake schedule they play every season.

Pruitt is obviously a good recruiter, but I'm not sold on his DC skills as of yet.
