What do I have to panic about other than family in DFW having to deal with more of you?

playing the system.
A lot of schools play the ranking games on easy stats to manipulate to elevate their ranking. Some of these ranking use metrics that dont really mean anything. it would be nice if they came up with a better undergrad rating system

Well here's your problem. If you were a bit picky in who you let in, you might one day challenge Florida and Georgia for academic superiority.
Good luck with that.

Vandy has less bums and more chicks.

I wanted to go to GT. But didn't get in. But a BS and MS from Alabama has sufficed.

Texas kids are of a naturally higher quality than Georgia and Florida kids. We can afford to let in more without diluting our quality.

Not to mention people moving from all over the country for work in DFW.
Unfortunately, people from all over the country are moving to most Texas cities for work.

You cling to that while you continue to fall in the rankings.

If A&M is so clearly the second best academically in the conference (behind only Vanderbilt), why are they so far behind Florida and Georgia in these U.S. News rankings?
I know there are tons of criticisms of the ranking system (no ranking system for an entire university could ever be perfect) but is the system just penalizing A&M? Did Georgia pay someone off to be so far ahead of yall?
It just seems that if it were as obvious as yall say that A&M > Georgia you would at least be closer in the rankings right?

Is this still at the admissions office?

Coming from an Aubie? Good lord.

I know. I moved to Houston in 2011 for work. But have since left. My dad was transferred to DFW for work. He's since started to work overseas, but keeps a home there.

The things Georgia has that are better than A&M:
Football
Baseball
Basketball
Academics
Campus
Town
Wimmens
I'm sure there is a host of others, but what's the point?
