All fans melt, but Alabama fans, because of the success of the team over the years, does not take it so bad overall.
I mean, I know that Alabama will win another national title in football very soon, so it is not so bad when they do not win one in a last year.

The vast majority of Alabama fans knew that the amount of injuries Alabama sustained before and during the season were going to be a problem. We were hopeful that it would not, but we also were realistic.

You are applying what and how LSU fans (or the fans of other schools) act.
Alabama fans are different, as they see on average 1-2 national titles a decade and have for their entire life. There maybe short dry spells (probation extended one of the dry spells) but Alabama fans know that another NC is just around the corner, and it has been that way since 1920

Rant: This Is a microcosm of THE Alabama fanbase and why they melt so hard after to seeing LSU take the best season of all time.
They believe it’s a birthright to claim it.
They can’t handle it. Even fake titles aren’t enough. And now it’s not even fun tk watch college football for them because so much is fabricated.
