being the favorite does not play to your advantage at all. I wouldn’t want to play Alabama or Georgia as the favorite against them. Bama said frick that last night, being underdogs in their own house.

so we should lose to OU
in order to be an underdog to GA

hmm.. kinda makes sense actually.. i’ll let Sark know so he can keep that excuse in his back pocket

Another reason I like OU over Texas is Texas normally has a bye the next week and now it’s their biggest home game in decades the week after.

They were a 10 point favorite last year and OU beat them. Now they have confidence after winning at Auburn and will be healthy

Tennessee D-Line will whoop Bama's O-Line. UGA will beat Texass.

Why do you think Texas looked so pedestrian against Mississippi State?

1) A small dose of Texas starting to believe its own press coverage.

2) Lebby had a good game plan, very one dimensional and Texas couldn’t get them off the field.

3) Bama and UGA have already had a couple of meh games as well. It happens, but you still win.

Because it was Miss St and they didn't put their best effort into it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - talent does not disappear, focus does.

Those BIG12 teams don’t play defense.

What kind of joke was that last night then? Game was a track meet with Bama surviving. Defense?

Split gameday for the first time ever for ESPN? Would be a killer idea I think

Probably just have the games at different times so they can maximize viewership.

UGA is decidedly not a great team and they will be no waltzing nor assumptions about winning.

I expect that, but dueling gameday? With those games on tap I’d like to see it

OU isn’t good. Venables defense, specifically the D line is not up to par. I think Brent is firmly on the hot seat mid next season because they look Arkansas/A&M level and OU fans won’t stand for that.

Now of course, Texas finds a way to lose that game often, so who knows.

2nd half Georgia last night sure looked like a great team. I don't know what to expect when you come to Austin. I just hope we are ready for it.

I don't care if uga wants to play 5 quarters, if Texas has a healthy Ewers, and the way Georgia looked against kentucky and bama this game will be something like 31-17 Texas

Like others have said Oct 19 is going to be fun. I think if both tenner and bama are undefeated, gameday has to go to Knoxville. Either site will be electric. We have a little game with a certain rival first. They have beaten us as the underdog more times than I like to remember.

You can’t seriously believe that, A&M is a dark horse to maybe go eight and four and that is if everything goes right
