Scheduling has never been equal, I think most coaches, ADs, etc realize this. "Not fair" is the term now being used by a small segment of ADs and coaches

“There’s nothing fair about college football. You know that, don’t you?” he asked. “If it was fair, Alabama would have to sit out a year of recruiting. They’ve had the No. 1 class five out of six years. That’s like giving an NFL team the first five picks in the first and second round every year -- almost.

If CFB was fair, UGA would have at least played in 3 National titles under Richt. But life sucks, so does UGA's luck, and that's just how it is.

Papa and momma DGD always told me the fair only comes twice a year

Life's not fair, Steve. Now go finish your banquet beer with no shirt on, redneck.

He's still crying about this?

It doesn't sound like he's complaining. He's just stating fact. Life ain't fair and football sure as hell isn't either.
I can't tell if he was giving Florida props or mocking them, but still, nice to know he still thinks about us.

Don't think he's mocking UF. Folks still want UF to schedule even tougher. It's like we are expected to have the toughest schedule in the conference for no good reason.

Quit crying and suck it up.

The only way to have a fair schedule is to play a round robin.

At least you don't hear him CRYING about it. He deals with sh*t as it is.

“In college football, you are whatever your schedule is. Nobody gave a dang last year that Texas A&M, their four out-of-conference games were Texas El Paso, Sam Houston State, SMU and Rice. That was their four out-of-conference games, and I think all four of them were at home. ... They gave up Texas to pick up Sam Houston State, and nobody said a word about that.”

It is fair in that the top 6 powers in SEC hostory were mated with each other in 1992 and the bottom 6 powers including of course USCe & Arkansas were mated to each other.
None of the 6 bottom feeders, Arkansas, Miss. St., Ole Miss., USCe, Kentucky or Vanderbilt have won an SEC title, so the weaker foe for each of those schools has been irrelevant.
All of the top 6 teams have won an SEC championship since the 1992 scheduling format was implemented.
As for the top six vs. the top six it runs in cycles, hell Florida basically had a gimme vs. LSU in the 90,s and UF has won 8 games or fewer 6 times since 2002. If not for the Tim Tebow era UF would probably be considered an average team at this time, 2002-8-5, 2003-8-5, 2004-7-5, 2005-9-3, 2006 13-1, 2007, 9-4, 2008-13-1, 2009 13-1, 2010-8-5, 2011-7-6, 2012 - 11-2, 2013-4-8.
Tennessee was crushing Bama from 94 to 2005. Georgia and Auburn have both had good years and lean years.
Seems the crying by LSU so they can get a UK or Vandy as a permanent foe was seen for what it was, a B.S. ploy to gain an advantage.
SORRY CHARLIE, NOBODY BOUGHT THIS B.S., EXCEPT YOUR FANS.
