I mean okay, Alabama has had much better coaches over the years than LSU. Who would deny such a thing? What does that have to do with the OP or the stat about home wins the last 80 years?

It's been a good series in the past 20 years even if it has been spread out.

Agree. Georgia fans pretty much would say the LSU game (whenever we play) is one of the best and most fun to go to and watch in the West. LSU's one of the best road games for Dawgs fans...always a good time and both fans seem to be rather cordial to each other for the most part.

You lost to Arkansas at home over the last 7 years?

You mean Arkansas has won more in Tiger Stadium than Texas A&M. I agree, how embarrassing for Texas A&M.

Inb4 74-72. Congrats on your 1-7 record against LSU in the 2010s.

Number of times LSU has finished better than 3 losses since the expansion?

2018 10-3
2017 9-4
2016 8-4
2015 9-3
2014 8-5
2013 10-3
2012 10-3

3 losses - 4
4 losses - 2
5 losses - 1

Poor L8U. All that talent and amazing home field advantage, but nothing to show for it.

But hey, Tigah Stadium tho!

Um, is this supposed to be an insult? There are maybe 5 teams in all of college football that can put numbers better than that up. Congrats to Alabama for being one of those teams, but let's not go overboard.

Most programs, even "elite" ones, would be considered stable with that.

3rd in the West is considered stable for LSU? And here I was thinking it gets coaches fired. I guess Les Miles just had that one a coming...

Nope, a tie is a tie. Nothing in the SEC rules differentiate placement for second place. So technically and officially according to the conference, LSU finished tied for second place.

9-3 on average is stable, yes. For LSU, for anyone.

LSU wanted more, and there was frustration over the continued offensive woes, but do you not remember even Nick Saban being a bit put off about Miles being let go? Again, congrats to Alabama for their current run. It's been historically great. But for your comment of "3rd in the West"... yeah, Alabama is 1st in the West during that stretch. 1st in the West, 1st in the SEC, 1st in the NCAA.
Who's second?
Auburn? 2012, 3-9. 2015, 7-6. 2014,2016, 2018, 8-5.
Arkansas? 2018, 2-10. 2013, 3-9. 2012 and 2017, 4-8. 2014, 2016, 7-6. 2015, 8-5.

So from 2012 onward, LSU has winning records vs each West team other than Alabama, and has not had a season worse than 8-5.
Please find this mysterious second West team that LSU is behind, in addition to Alabama.

Like I said, LSU is extremely stable, the model of it. A single 8-5 is the low water mark. 3 10 win seasons, 2 more 9 win seasons, and one of the 8 win seasons had a 99.9% win cancelled due to weather.

Wait aren't you missing a home game? Oh, that's right, I forgot. Something to do with a hurricane.

Well, the number of games would have been the same either way. 2017 would have been at home, instead 2016 was at home.

2012, 2014, 2017, 2018 - Gainesville

LSU 2-2

2013, 2015, 2016 - Baton Rouge

LSU 2-1

Oddly enough, since they permanently moved Bama's home games against LSU to Bryant-Denny decades ago.LSU has a winning record in Bryant-Denny.

LSU does not have a winning record in Tuscaloosa

I was talking about LSU having a winning record at Bryant-Denny, Bama's home stadium, since they started playing the LSU game there every other year decades ago. Bryant-Denny was mentioned.
