My take. I think the two rednecks were there to sell them drugs and they decided to rob them and take the drugs instead of paying for them.

The two rednecks are saying they shouldn't be prosecuted and they should be allowed to stay on the team because the truth is that the two drug dealers don't want this to go to trial any more than the players do. The two rednecks don't want it to come out that they are drug dealers.

Just my opinion.

They probably sent Jackson in to buy the blunt.

Nope, he will not be charged with anything.

Now, will he still be allowed on the team? Don't know that yet.

Yes, I bet he gets a one game suspension at the most. This will be the epic failure that defines Lane Kiffin as a coach.

Doesn't mean it's true... And it negates the original story of him being in the car.

Now I ain't no fan of UT, Kiffin or Jackson, but think about this dilemma.

Janzen is not charged with anything, so "technically" he did not do anything wrong except to be in the area where an armed robbery took place.

Can Coach throw him off the team for that?

He is charged with three counts of attempted robbery. He just didn't have to post bail (which probably means that the charges will be lessened, I suppose).

At least they were being environmentally friendly during the alleged incident.

I know right! I think this is the most telling part of the whole incident. Three wanna-be thugs packing a pellet gun while in a Prius. This is the most ridiculous story of the year in the SEC.

They are lucky that they didn't try and rob someone who carries a real piece. Frickin morons

yeah, but he won't - he will prob suspend for a game or two and the media will praise him for giving the young man 'a second chance at life ' makes me sick just like that Oregon kid or any number of incidents from urban meyer after his first year when he was a bit harder

Even Tom Osborne wouldn't suspend a kid for just one game or two for something so serious.

Jackson's dad must be pissed, now he won't get that job with Tennessee this year if Jackson's not on the team.

As DandyDon reported, Didn't Jackson say he wanted to leave Louisiana to get away from crime?

Has the crime rate dropped in Lake Charles since he left?

So these 4 people get caught in an attempted robbery and 3 of them play football correct?

Am I the only one who thinks that those 3 will get a slap on the wrist and the girl that drove them is royally fricked.
