Firing dooley would be like the 3rd fricked up recruiting class in 4 (5?) years. Y'all have no depth and it is because of all the coaching changes. The fans and the AD need to chill the frick out and let a coach have at least a little bit of continuity before he is fired.

He has gotten worse in two years. He constantly belittles his players causing dissension in the locker room. His coaches don't like him. His players don't like him.

If a hire is made soon, there would be no problem with this recruiting class. 3 full months to solidify recruits.

the availability of internet, cable tv, cell phones, twitter, changes what can be heard, what can be shared.

60 years ago, there might have been similar feelings if a big time program were on hard times, but no way to share them, be heard, be seen, and stimulate the responses and group-think.

more info, more rumors, more of everything.

I think that's why the hype for the Bama LSU game was so intense.
ESPN was on it 22 hours a day and the game was on CBS!

Would make the Kiffin meltdown seem mild if this happened.

I wish. I mean, he is such a great coach. Look at all of the coaching offers he has received since being fired.

Dooley will never get it done here.

I agree but I wouldn't fire him just for the sake of firing him. You guys need a proven winning HC & I wouldn't fire Dooley unless I had one in my back pocket. Firing Dooley to hire some unproven coordinator would not be very smart. It could set you back even further.

If y'all fire Dooley this year, y'all won't be able to get a coach worth a frick because everyone won't wanna touch that program.

That's what I'm wondering. Who the frick do they think is option B there at this point?

Is Basillo (sp?) like a 'Finebaum lite' up there where everyone hates him, no one respects him, but somehow someway everyone knows everything he says?

His blog entry yesterday was really shocking.
