this is one of the most overused straw man argument in all of sports.
sure, you don't want to be in the position for the officials to decide it, like they just did. But, that doesn't excuse the terrible officiating.

Agreed. It's like saying "Well if you shot perfectly throughout the entirety of the game, the refs won't get involved."
