While there will never be another Burrow (the mold was broken with that guy), Brennan had a chance to be his understudy for two seasons. That has to count for something

One of Brennan/Trask/Nix

my money is on Trask. He impressed me last year. He is very accurate and rarely makes a bad decision.

Brock Osweiler got to be Peyton Manning’s backup for 2 years. See how your argument holds no water?

Trask is the only one that can have a "Burrow" type year in my opinion. 2019 high school back up accepts the only P5 school that offered redshirts 1st year gets hurt his second year gets hurt his third year comes in as a backup due to the starter getting injured saves the season and attends/wins the orange bowl 2020 florida's first undefeated season with national championship and heisman winner the story basically writes itself. anyone that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. there will be a 30 for 30 about it if this happens.
Look at this ridiculously stupid homer bullshite.

Your wife says it's LSU's very own Max Johnson.

how do you figure? that could legitimately happen. there was a bunch of homerisms when it came to burrow pre-2019, maybe even pre-2018.
look at burrow. class of 2015. didn't get a start until 2018 because he couldn't cut it OSU. get's redemption not at a lower tier school, but freaking LSU. transfer QBs rarely get that opportunity late in their career. they usually end up in a G5 school.
trask has been at florida his whole career. waited for his shot. he took it, and won the freaking orange bowl. he was just a few plays short against LSU and Georgia. if he improves 5-10% of what he accomplished this past season, a playoff spot isn't too far fetched given the schedule florida has next season.

Mond
No, no
Mond is pure unadulterated garbage. He stinks like a Grand Isle dumpster in July.
Mond is Mr. 100 yards passing with stats like 12. For 36 with 2 picks. He can’t read a play chart rather than a defense and couldn’t put a shot through a tight window with a sniper rifle. Out of the Kentucky receiver playing quarterback and Mond, I say the Kentucky receiver has a better chance of being the Heisman winning quarterback than Mond having 3000 yards passing.
Mond is hot garbage on steroids

Just getting to the playoffs isn’t a “Burrow-type year”
Posted on 1/27/20 at 7:43 pm to Sun God
what's wrong with winning it?

Based on what they have shown and how their teams are built to support them...
1. Mac Jones
2. Kyle Trask
3. Jamie Newman
4. Brennan
Huge dropoff

I can see Trask taking Florida to the SEC championship game but I don’t think he makes a heisman run. It takes great receivers, a great scheme and a great quarterback. All three have to come together just right. Since Georgia owns Mullen, I don’t really see it happening but who knows, it might.

With Gus "The QB Guru" Malzahn and Chad "The Whisperer" Morris both coaching him, the only answer is... Bo Nix.
