He did all he could at disadvantaged Notre Dame. He’ll be on a level playing field at LSU, and will be the fourth head coach in a row to win a national title here, which will be unprecedented in major college football.

Correct. The very reason why he chose to take the LSU job. When he plays Alabama and UGA in the coming years, he won’t be playing with Notre Dame’s level of talent. I mean, LSU’s JV squad gave Alabama all they could handle with the shrimp boat captain at the helm.

I'm not moving the goalposts, you're not comprehending what I said. I didn't say he never won a D2 title, I said he didn't win shite at ND which is clearly true.

Guess they're really developing their talent then given that they're usually outside the top 10 in team talent.
For instance, they were #12 in 2021 while LSU was #5 despite having 10 less players.
Seems like at least a bit of a "talent gap" to me.
