You can't walk on the grass at the Memorial Student Center. Maybe a couple hundred square yards. A living memorial for fallen soldiers. Omfg so crazy and weird.

It's about maintaining a lawn. If 50,000 students are trampling over grass, it will ruin it... Omg so crazy.

Just because they're too poor in Kentucky to afford a RIDING MOWER doesn't mean they are in Texas.

to ditch the military/sailor suits and start wearing regular suits and ties like truly refined gentlemen?

Only school I've seen wearing sailor suits is the Naval Academy.

A&M isn't the only FBS school that has a full time corps of cadets in uniform at the games. There's a little school in Blacksburg, VA called VPI that you might have heard of that does as well.

I actually thought the dog graveyard with scoreboard was a pretty cool tradition/whatever. It has just the right touch of fanatic obsession to fit in with the SEC.

Oh and if anybody rips on fashion around here, just be thankful you're not a UF fan/alumni.

Jorts.

For those that missed it, someone was making fun of Missouri fans not dressing up enough for football games. I believe it was an Ole Miss fan, so that would explain why he thought that. This guy just seems to be mad that he was getting made fun of more than us at the time. Carry on.

when I was at A&M the day after LSU-Oregon we tailgated with some Aggies and an SMU girl walked by. They gave her some shite about whatever and she said "try going to the mall and getting a collared shirt or you'll get kicked out of the SEC really quick"... it was actually kinda funny

All I wrote in response was L O L. You must be new to the whole message board thingy. Why don't you go piss off the guy who said he was going to walk on the grass. Also I hope you don't bring this attitude with you to Auburn. Alcohol, you, and a crowd don't seem like a great combination.

I don't think the memorial is scary/weird. It's the reaction you'll see from random Aggies who are nearby that is weird.

"GET OFF THE frickING GRASS!!!!" Or if you, somehow, forget to take your hat off (wasn't the national anthem...something else) during a song, "UNCOVER!!!!!" Then they knock your hat off of your head.

"We here in Aggie Land honor the soldiers who have died for your freedoms by infringing upon them!"
