It's also official that Alabama missed the SECCG and the Playoff, lost to Michigan, and finished 9-4.
This isn't the real snake pit issue.
Alabama is stuck with the Learfield contract for another decade.

Maybe you should root for a team that has historically had success.
That would make Auburn fans sidewalk fans which is what 99% of Tide fans are.

Not official until a few years from now
You gotta win 3 outta your first 4 to start it, then win one every few years to maintain it.
So Alabama's dynasty would be 2009-2020, although nobody considered a dynasty until like 2013 and the potential remained until last year.
If you could pull in another back to back, that would be significant. 4 in 6 is a really strong argument. Definitely going to need more than 3 now I think though. 3 in 5 sounds decent, but if it's a 2 year gap and then just 1 more, I don't think people will think of it as a dynasty.

3/5 would still qualify for most people. 3/6 is questionable, but some would count it. .

Mean success like Texas has had over Alabama?
Can't win 'em all. God knows I'd LOVE to. Don't recall losing to Texas this year. Do recall winning a National Championship against them a few years ago though. Enjoyed that immensely.

Dude! Bammer didn't even make the playoffs and STILL lost their bowl game.
True statements. Honestly they weren't good enough this year to string 3 good games together, so they didn't deserve to make the playoffs. Had they made the playoffs they wouldn't gone far, as evidenced by the Michigan game.

I think that if I were in your position I'd be very meek regarding the topic of football. But then again, if I were you I'd probably have more of an entitled mindset that's easily butthurt.
However, they were good enough to gouge out an eye and skull hump your team, at home and at night. The place you guys call "Death Valley" I think. From 1992 to now, Bama has won in "Death Valley" 12 times while LSU has won 5 times. Seems most of the Death occurring in the Valley when Bama comes to town is to LSU hopes and dreams. Maybe you should take a bit of your own advice I quoted above.

All time, Bama is 57-27-5 against LSU, 51-37-1 against the barn and 44-26-4 against Georgia. Ignoring the ties Bama is batting .679 against LSU, .600 against the barn and .629 against Georgia. In these 3 cases, who's the better?

It’s so odd to me that people just pick a college team to support. Most didn’t attend any college, let alone UA.
When they used to play most of their games at Lesion Field, I kid you not… half of those retarded fans swore Birmingham is where the university was located.

Define sidewalk fan.
1. Never attended the university
2. Not a donor
3. Not a season ticket holder
You must meet at least one of the above mentioned criteria to be a real fane with skin ($$$) in the game.
4. Bought a hat and t-shirt at Walmart.
Congrats! You are a sidewalk fan.

So to be a fan of a sport/team, one must have been directly associated with that sport/team? Does this apply to fans of all sports or just Alabama fans? I root for the Titans but never been directly associated with the Titan team nor lived in Nashville. I root for the Dolphins, but never been directly associated with the Dolphins team or lived in Miami. I root for the Ravens, but never been associate with the Ravens team or lived in Baltimore. I have rooted for many different NASCAR drivers, but never been directly associated with any NASCAR driver/team or lived in the Carolina's. Does this make me a "sidewalk" fan of all of these as well? Do you hold yourself accountable as "sidewalk" fan for all sports/teams you root for and never been directly associated with?
I'd say that you don't and you don't hold your friends to that standard either. People use the "sidewalk" fan accusation in an attempt to have fanbase "moral" superiority because they paid the tax to go some school (like they are somehow better than others who went to a different school). All to cover the fact that they can't factually argue that their team is better.

I wouldn't use a tn shirt as grease rag, so there is that. I hate Auburn because I have to, I hate tn because I WANT TO.

You must own stock in Walmart by now.

Ouch that hurts. Can't argue that your team is better, so you resort to personal attacks in a feeble attempt to find some moral fan base high ground.
I know tn won this year, however all time Bama leads 60-38-8. Ignoring the ties, Bama is batting .612 against the coondogs. In the last 20 years, Bama leads 16-4 or batting .800.
