We should all refuse to schedule them.
Hmm. Why does the AP and Coaches poll perennially have them ranked so high?
They can’t achieve a top 12 ranking if their schedule resembles that of a G5 school.

Why would the ACC push for ND? The ACC tried to get ND to join the conference and they refused.....now they want the conference they refused to join to go fight for them? It was ND's choice to remain independent. They should fight for themselves, by putting together a real schedule.

Lay down with dogs, get up with fleas.
They made their bed. They've had MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE chances to join the ACC. They've refused every time. How much $$$ does the ACC get if ND wins it all? Of COURSE the ACC is going to push for Miami. Deal with it.

Plus, Miami beat Miami in head to head competition so there's that.
ND played 2 good teams in an otherwise soft schedule and lost to both.

Exactly! If they lose their guaranteed ACC games and the other Power 4 teams refuse to schedule them their toughest games annually will be against the service academies. Good luck making the top 12 playing a schedule like that.

The ACC needs to do just that

Join a conference, dummy! BTW, you should pick the Big 10 or SEC over the ACC to have a more legit argument.
None. As an independent I am sure Notre Dame gets the whole pot

Notre Dame’s making Sacramento State look reasonable.

I’m confused on why they are mad. Did they expect the ACC to support them getting in over Miami despite losing to them?

What payout does the ACC get if ND goes to/wins a playoff game??
I dunno ... but I seem to remember the ACC not getting a cut of ND's post season football revenue.
It was a sweet deal for ND.

AI:
Notre Dame has it gravy by not sharing revenue unlike the ACC membersx but still expect privileges lol.

No, Notre Dame does not share its major football bowl revenue, especially College Football Playoff (CFP) money, with the ACC because it's an independent for football and keeps all its earnings, unlike conference teams that split revenue with their leagues. While Notre Dame plays many sports in the ACC and gets some revenue share from other NCAA/ACC sources, their football independence means they keep 100% of their significant media deals (like NBC) and CFP payouts, giving them a huge financial edge, note Front Office Sports and FanSided.

The committee was fully prepared to give Notre Dame the spot over Miami despite the head to head. Then Duke won the ACC and they decided to include a token ACC team. Conference pressure beat ND bias. Politics versus politics. In case there was any doubt, it was never about football. That’s what is fully exposed here, even if you think they ended up with the right decision that’s just a coincidence, it was never for the right reasons. And everyone should be mad about that
I too believe that to be the gist of the matter.

Exactly my thought. They sharing any of that NBC money with their "partner"?

That's the rotten cherry on top of this pile of shite. How entitled they are.
Anyways, I thought this was kinda funny.

Join the SEC and let’s be done with this conversation. They won’t

Remember folks, they are acting this way over basically the 12th spot.
Adding more teams does not fix the people crying. It makes it worse.

The only response .. the best response .. is all conferences come together … hold hands … sing kumbaya .. and refuse to schedule and / or play Notre Dame
