We had one player suspended for an entire year.
We had another player suspended for one and a third years.
And LSU hasn’t “had” to suspend any players for a year or more.
Auburn did have a coach arrested by the FBI while still employed for the school.

AGAIN, which had nothing to do with recruiting or gaining a competitive advantage. He was actually enticing players to leave Auburn. There are no Federal laws regarding collegiate recruiting.
AGAIN, sorry you don't see the vast difference in the two situations.
.............and Auburn still got hit hard by the NCAA.

To make deals, you have to make offers:

I’ve made deals for a lot of players who are as good as him that were f------ a lot simpler than this.

Correct that was all the NCAA found. You really think Bruce Pearl allowed someone to be in his staff that was trying to get players to leave the team?

and you honestly think Person went to Bruce and told him what he was doing? Do you think any of the assistants involved told their HC they were doing this? This went on at more than a handful of schools.

Now that you’re concentrating on LSU basketball, can we expect you to continue posting LSU softball scores when they lose?

The NCAA says LSU men's basketball coach Will Wade either arranged for or offered "impermissible payments" to at least 11 potential recruits or others around them, according to documents obtained Wednesday by ESPN.
The documents say the NCAA's enforcement staff received information that Wade "arranged for, offered and/or provided impermissible payments, including cash payments, to at least 11 men's basketball prospective student-athletes, their family members, individuals associated with the prospects and/or nonscholastic coaches in exchange for the prospects' enrollment at LSU."
quote:
The allegations were included in the NCAA enforcement staff's request that its infractions case involving the LSU men's basketball program be adjudicated through the Independent Accountability Resolution Process, which was created to handle complex cases.

The irony of all this the more this bull shite plays out exactly at tournament time the more the legend of Will Wade grows and the bluer Pete Thamel and Pat Forde's balls get.

You use bama math.

from said article....
[quote]The Infractions Referral Committee (IRC) will decide whether the LSU case is handled by the IARP. In a 10-page letter to the IRC, LSU's attorneys did not object to the basketball matter being adjudicated by the IARP, as long as three allegations involving the school's football program aren't included in the case.
If that isn't notification of violations, I don't know what is.
