After what happened at your home field, as well as the records against head to head competition?
You, my friend, have lost any and all credibility on this site. You would have done better with sticking with your team didn't get arse raped by Cam.

Really???
Auburn went 8-0 in the SEC and Bama went 5-3.
Auburn played Bama AT Bama and won.
But you want to see Bama as the better team.
We all have some blindness when it comes to our own favorite school, but you might be a tad more out of touch with SEC football reality than the normal fan.

Yea Bama looked great yesterday and anytime your team can dominate another team like that its impressive. But part of being the best TEAM is being able to pull out the win when everything isn't firing on all cylinders. Bama is what their record is. Fans can sugar coat it and say their the best team in the SEC cuz they beat down a Big X opponent in their bowl game but thats just lookin at it thru crimson glasses. Auburn came to bamas house... Auburn didn't play to their best that first half... They over came it and pulled out with a win. Bama lost 3 games.
1: Auburn
2: Arkansas
3: LSU
4: Bama
Bama did miss some opps during the iron bowl but so did Auburn. The better team won, in tuscaloosa at that. Because bama beat down a big X team yesterday doesn't change what they are in the SEC. Congrats on the win though
the SEC needed it after starting off so bad.

and four points may have been the difference from keeping them out of the national title once gain
Four points? You think if you had beaten Auburn you would be in the national title game? With two losses? Maybe if the East champion was top 7 or so and you spanked them (if you won the tiebreaker), but you would have gotten no boost at all from beating USC other than some pollsters who could put that loss behind you a bit.
This is how you guys won all those national championships back when there was no real championship, isn't it? Rationalization and careful selection of what bits to process.

Only time we'd play Alabama next year is if we played you in the SECCG. Looks like you may just wind up there.

Bama made Jordan Jefferson look like a good quarterback. Think about that for a moment and then start another thread.
