The weight of these sanctions and Kiffin being suspended is simply too much.
Shut the program down.

You guys are way wayyyyyyyyyy worse than Auburn fans in 2010 and the Chizik era. And plenty of you called us cultists then. We weren't even near as cheesy and gay about it.

Which party in this dispute gave up something? LSU or the SEC?

The SEC gave up the notion that they have competent leadership at the helm when Sankey looked like an ignorant fool in court. LSU didnt give up anything. Really its the players that initially lost but with the lawsuits that are coming it will be the sec front office and Sankey won't be there much longer. The presidents of all the other schools backed down like the bitch maids they are. LSU basically said go ahead and try to kick us out because the discovery in the lawsuit that would follow would tear apart your schools and make all your dirty laundry public record. Who knows, they might have found some more texas a&m pedophiles. Now GA fans have been pretty quiet and non existent during this whole thing, but if you want to join the other libtard fanbases we can do this.

Sankey answers to 16 people, 15 of which were pretty firmly behind him by all accounts (hint, none are posters here) LSU gave up on the thing that started all of this. Are you disputing any of that? Because it doesn't seem particularly hard to look up

And yet he and the rest of them couldn't do sht. LSU always stood on the premise that they would follow the rules, which they did. How can you give up something you never had bud? Do you know any of the presidents to where your sure they all stood behind his incompetence, or are you just spouting out info that some libtard on this board made up in his head? Did you make it up in your head?

The party that claimed LSU was facing sanctions and that Kiffin was going to be suspended.

I'm just calling it like I see it. Has Greg Sankey lost any standing with the people that sign his check? Did LSU get to add the players they wanted to that started all this? I can't speak for all of the Presidents, but unlike many on this board I have read the statements of many of them. Not write ups from "libtards" on this board but the actual statements. BTW, as I just got back from Jordan maybe you could inform your totally not a Libtard senator that the country has far more pressing matters for him to attend to than college football. Of course sending kids off to war hasn't ever really been a pressing matter for idiots like Senator Kennedy...and I say that as a lifelong Republican. You elected a grandstanding moron who sounds like Foghorn Leghorn and has the same amount of legislative accomplishments. A US base was shot at twice while I was there. But yeah, he's the smart one talking about football. Get real

Please point to statements of any of the 16 member institutions that said such a thing was going to happen. They applied pressure by bringing it up as a potential outcome. They never said it was going to happen. I'm not interested in what posters here said. They are irrelevant. The SEC mentioned it as a possibility and it would seem to have been effective.

Nope! Posted this to you in another thread.
People can't seem to acknowledge the fact that Lane and LSU played this as about as well as you could. This was never about adding "NFL players". The two in question have very good existing relationships with Lane and he saw a chance to add mature experienced depth to a already loaded roster. He knew this all.along and alluded to it in a press conference, this was about giving these guys a chance to keep playing ball.
He showed the players hes willing to fight for them against the machine (NCAA/SEC), and if you don't think that helps future team chemistry and recruitment then you can't see beyond your own bias and/or what the media tells you to think.
LSU broke zero rules, got massive PR, will receive zero penalties, and will help the conference by showing the world the utter incompetence of Sankey.

Why would the SEC sanction you for falling in line?

You backed up friend. Should the police shoot a guy when he complies and drops his gun?
I mean, why didn't you roster the players?
