From the TV perspective it looked good to me. The kicker seemed to think it was good and he had the best view.

Ball has to cross entirely inside rhe upright if it's high like that.

Looks like it went partially over the post, that's no good

I think the ref standing underneath the post had the best view.

It looked really similar to the one MSU missed vs Florida (I think) last year. Hard to tell. Maybe they ought to just make the goalposts longer. Or do something with lazers.

But was he being honest? You may never know the truth.

Yes and it's actually pretty strict. The ball could be 90% inside and only barely over the post an inch but that's technically no good.

If it were lower those type of kicks usually deflect in.

Yes. Like where if the ball crosses over the top of the goalpost, the lasers destroy it. It’s 2026. We can do it.

Actually your idea about lasers pointing straight up should solve issues like this. Doesn’t baseball do it for home runs?

Does look that obvious from the under the goalpost cam. Looks like it goes right over the goalpost. That’s no good if so.

Don’t know…. I do know an exploding football would be unquestionable and also provide an epic ending to the game. Boom! You lose! lol
