As a defensive specialist, Kirby sure did leave that Alabama receiver wide open.

Your last SEC championship is also from the 90s.

The pass by Marino was perfect. It was on 4th down. We definitely have had our share of heartbreaking losses . In each case the opponent made the critical play to win. Each time like you said was a deep pass. Hopefully in the near future we will make the critical play to win the national championship.

A fluke Belue to Scott deep pass against the Gators led to their only legitimate Natty so what's the point?

And another Gator that has no clue about what he is talking about. The pass went about 10-15 yards, and Scott outran the entire Florida defense.

That one loss brah. I've never seen anyone get beat down like that. 62 points with only 6 completions. -28 yards on the ground. Really should count as two losses..

I think his point is you don't have a whole lot to talk about. was that so hard to figure out?

How many years in a row has your biggest rival beaten you? Apparently Alabama has concussed the entire Tennessee fan base.

That's weird definition of "natty game." Georgia is 0-1 in natty games, not 0-3.

Sugar Bowl loss to Penn State

We were actually winning (10-6) at the end of the first quarter. "Nebraska better not get too far behind."
Oh well, no shame in losing to the GOAT football team.

I forgot UF was ahead after 1 qtr. Then Spurrier went insane and went 5 WR on his own 1 yd line. I think that pissed Nebraska off.

I often wonder how Saban's NC teams would fare against that team. The way they ran that option with precision and discipline would be hard to defense.

I doubt that Saban would've lost by 38 points. It finally forced Spurrier to focus on defense though and we hired Bob Stoops as DC.

Saban wouldn't let NU line up and run the ball down down their throats like UF did. But mobile QB's can give his schemes fits. And that Husker QB was like a runaway tank.

Still I think Spurrier made that game weoirse than it was. Looks like NU was giving up the underneath passes and Spurrier kept trying to hit those low percentage deep shots. UF's D was worn out by halftime.

- The Sugar Bowl was a de-facto NCG, but not actually a national championship.

- The SECCG is not a national championship, it's a conference championship.

- The CFP loss was a national championship loss.

0-1

Yeah, we can talk about the heroic, perfectly thrown Tua OT ball...that was impressive - but I think the real play of the game for Alabama must've been the 4th down touchdown to tie the game. Really wish we had won the toss in OT. Oh well.
