If you're looking at the glass being half full (which is mighty tough these days), you want to get every practice and every game in. I would guess for no other reason than for the experience.

Because they are traditional games. If I had to pick games that must be played I would have went with
Bama, Florida, Ole Miss, A&M, Arkansas , state and Auburn. The rest could have been cut. Traditional games only would have been ideal. Records don’t matter in some games. The only thing that matters is the final score and who gets a win added to the overall record.

Neither of those games was canceled because of B1G-COVID protocl. They were only canceled by mutual agreement of the schools involved.
The CFP needs to tell OSU they can keep their sorry asses on the couch come playoff time.
