As for South Carolina, the search has been something of a disjointed mess, per multiple sources. School has missed on a number of candidates, while others got tired of waiting and backed out, sources said. Plus: Sean Miller passed. Tough 72 hours for the program.

Yikes

This is the worst coaching search since the Tennessee football one. At least nobody noticed ours

Now if they were on the gulf instead of the atlantic, they would have their pick of candidates.

Missouri in South Carolina don’t have half the shite going on that LSU does, yet they still manage to probably have a better hire than both of them.

It's honestly embarrassing that we're even considering either of these two candidates. Ray Tanner is an absolute clown.

The SEC Schools have not figured out that if they go after the top candidates and paying them the top dollar, it will end up saving themselves money in the end. Use the SECN Money for good instead of trying to build a palace to post on your website. It is costly muddling around mediocrity. It is happening in Football and Basketball. I cannot understand why.

This coaching search is a joke. Tanner should have had a coach already lined up when he pulled the string on Martin. Instead he's letting everyone else hire coaching candidates out from under his nose.

Ray doesn’t want to frick Up and actually make a decent hire like he did with Beamer. Nobody knew how he would be and so far he’s killing it. Can’t make that same mistake twice.

so the coach who got fired for Level 1 infractions on his watch passed on Carolina but the team that just got served several Level 1 violations and fired their coach thusly had no trouble at all talking a coach out of going to Carolina.

To put it mildly.
