These nutty bastids showing so much loyalty to their soccer teams is a sight to see, and everyone getting along so well (for the most part) has been very refreshing to see. Being a sports fan is supposed to bring us together to battle our "sports enemies" in fairly regulated contests rather than fighting or killing each other. Hate your opponent for 2 or 3 hours and then drop it, because we are all the same, just wearing differnt colors.

GO USA!!!

Obviously pulling for USA but if we can't win it, give it to the Dutch.

I'm going to the Netherlands v Sweden match on Saturday in Houston. It might be a draw for which fanbase is hotter.

Culture.

Nice to see it, for a change.

Currently sitting in the stands watching Portugal and Congo DR warm up. As a casual, I'm just blown away by the precision with which these guys effortlessly pass and recieve the ball.

They are incredibly skilled athletes. They make those kinds of passes while in full sprint sometimes and when the game is played well and there is a lot of ball movement, it can be a beautiful game to experience if you know what you're looking for. I played all throughout growing up and did some refereeing as well. It's a great game and I'm glad it is growing in popularity finally.

I'm going to the "official" sweden watch party in Frisco where the team is staying when not playing. Wil report back

I would say they're just doing it to be seen and to get on social media, but Asians were doing this at the World Cup before social media.

I still dont understand it though. Littering is one of my pet peeves, but the stadium has people they're paying to do this exact job.

I do not liter when at a sports game. Plus it is very easy to find a trash can, so no fricking excuse at all, just some very lazy people it seems.

We have 2 Japanese teams in my bowling league here in Dallas, and let me tell you they are not doing it for social media. Nicest people you will ever meet. They teach and practice respect like others only ask for.

People shouldn't litter ever, anywhere.

Don't Mess With Texas

Scotland tartan army cleaned up some too. It’s been really awesome seeing people absolutely fall in love with the different cultures of the country. The euros that come down south going to buckees and wearing cowboy hats. Saw some that can’t stop listening to country music now. Best part is everyone has remarked on how nice they’ve been treated.
