we could easily lose to Arkansas.. if you haven't noticed since Miles has been here we have either lost to Arkansas or barely beaten them.. if we don't pressure Mallett he could easily pick us apart.

I don't see the Arky offense being such a threat later in the schedule. Also that team will never reach it's potential which such a below average defense.

Looking at who they lost and whose coming back, I say 7-5 or 8-4.

9-3

I think you get back at UF this year for some reason. I think your coaching staff may have been gameplanning this one now since the final whistle blew in the game last year.... come to think of it that might be a bad thing.

I don't think your offense will be ready for UNC's defense and lose a close one at the beginning of the season.

I think Arkansas has yall figured out and with more talent this year I think they keep the streak alive.

I think Alabama will have the toughest team in the conference again and will win what is always a hard fought game.

Playing someone like VA-Tech in a good bowl game.

3) Meltdown

I am sorry to say but I think y'all are set up to be let down this season, especially if UNC wins the opener. Your offense is talented but terrible as a unit, the bright spots being RS and MF, but to many questions marks to be confident in LSU's O. Defensively you will be competitive, but not sure it's enough because your'e coaching is awful. I have a feeling this is the season the wheels come off the bus for Sling Blade. LSU goes 7-5 or even 6-6 and even the kool-aid chugging Posi-Tigers take their heads out of the sand and face reality.

NOLA I know your opinion of "SlingBlade,"
but do you think these LSU coaches are "awful" as well?"

John Chavis? DC (from Tennessess)
Billy Gonzalez? Passing Game/WR (from Florida)
Gary Crowton? OC (from Oregon,BYU)
Steve Ensminger? TE (from Georgia)
Frank Wilson? RB, Recruiting Coord (from Tennessee and previous National Recruiter of the Year.)
Ron Cooper? DB (from So Car.)
Tommy Moffitt? S&T former national Strength Coach of the Year.)

????????????????????????????????????????????????

John Chavis Def. Coordinator 2nd Tennessee (1979) Dillon, S.C.
Gary Crowton Offensive Coordinator 4th BYU (1983) Provo, Utah
Frank Wilson Running Backs/Recruiting 1st Nicholls State (1997) New Orleans, La.
Ron Cooper Defensive Backs 2nd Jacksonville (1983) Huntsville, Ala.
Brick Haley Defensive Line 2nd Alabama A&M (1989) Gadsden, Ala.
Steve Ensminger Tight Ends 1st LSU (1982) Baton Rouge, La.
Billy Gonzales Wide Receivers/Passing Game 1st Colorado St. (1994) Thornton, Colo.
Joe Robinson Special Teams Coord./Def. Line 3rd LSU (1985) Abilene, Texas
Greg Studrawa Offensive Line 4th Bowling Green (1987) Fostoria, Ohio
Tommy Moffitt Strength & Conditioning 9th Tennessee Tech (1986) Summerville, Tenn.

The west this year will be tougher than it's been in a long time.

Arkansas and Auburn both have the best teams they have had in a few years. LSU will be solid like normal. Bama about as good as it gets.

Also, Miss St will has gotten much better. They won't be a guaranteed win like they normally are.

Ole Miss will be down but Houston will have them ready for the huge games.

LSU is going to lose at least 2 SEC games, but as long as they beat Alabama, they have a good shot of winning the west.

I think that they have to hope Florida doesn't win the east though, because I don't think they beat Florida in the dome.

As lopsided as the UNC D vs LSU O is supposed to be I think the UNC O vs LSU D is even more lopsided in LSU's favor. And it is a UNC defense that gave up 28 points to NC State.. and offense we held to 3 points.

You're giving a very well-rounded view. If Arkansas & Auburn don't learn how to play defense the wheels will fall off on their seasons quickly.LSU's offense will better because RS has finally been told to just learn one position. The threeback rotation of Ford,Murphy & Ridley should be something to see.

Like 10% of Ingram, Richardson, and Lacy.
