Is Bud Walton Arena that formidable? Or is Suitcase Mike just that great of a coach? I don't see the Razorbacks losing a home game for quite a while (definitely not this season). What do you think about putting a sticky thread with a running tally of consecutive Hog home wins?

As someone who has seen a few games at BW I think it's a tough place to play regardless of the coach.

I can't compare the two because I didn't see a game at Barnhill.

Barnhill was tougher in my opinion. 10,000 fans right on top of the court. Small building, no place for the sound to go.

I do remember sitting in the stands in Feb. 1991, however, when UNLV with Johnson, Augmon, et. al. shut our asses up. Wow.

Don't SEC bball home teams win about 80% of the time?

It is a tough environment. Big crowd. If the team can ever learn to consistently win games away from there, Arkansas will become a huge factor.

That's the way Hearnes was. IMO some of the newer arenas take away from the atmosphere because they're built like NBA arenas.

Because you're the greatest home court basketball team of all time.

Of ALL TIME.

Arkansas is 303-78 at Bud Walton since it opened.

That's damn impressive

I think we have a good season. We won't win at Arkansas though. I predicted NIT before the season but there's a small chance we make the NCAAs

We've won two of the past three in BWA. I don't think it's that formidable.

Absolutely. I'd love to see a game at Duke.

The team you cheer for can have success at a place that is formidable believe it or not. In fact, it is more impressive that way.
