Damn, I read this and thought, "I must have drank more than I realized watching the games today."

All good Ted. Thanks. What makes college football great is the passion the fans have for there team. I have been a huge tiger fan, good or bad for a long time. I support other sec teams when they play out of conference games. I realize talking trash is just a fun way of passing time. Some people take it to extremes. If you don't have thick skin on these boards, well maybe you should join a pac 10 board. Lol

Once again Bama and LSU mirror image each other.

We've had to watch Alabama abuse us for several years to recognize the need to modernize.

Neither defense is bad
exactly. nick saban is not putting a bad product on the field. the game is just different now. defenses are giving up points until there are some rules changes. maybe like linemen downfield on rpo's.

i can't even be mad that bama is still ranked in front of lsu. until someone beats bama (ahem, lsu) they get the benefit of the doubt. if the tigers want to be in front of bama, they get their chance in a few weeks to erase any doubt.

Good narrative Ted, however I had to stop reading right after the word Tigers.

Can LSUs players and coaches handle the pressure of a road game at Bama? Can they put 7 or 8 or whatever losses in a row out of their mind and just go out and execute?

I have no doubt that we will scheme well going into the game, but it remains to be seen whether we can execute.

Bama will have very little pressure, comparatively, riding the wave of so many victories in a row.

I understand that. It was odd the past two years now seeing Bama with a potent, modern offensive. I’m a defensive guy from way back. But I do enjoy seeing the new offense at Bama. I’m sure you feel the same about your team

Good post. I agree. Both defenses are good. It’s just different with our high powered offenses.

I think LSU should be ranked number one due to who’ve they’ve beaten. But, as long as Bama is in top 4 at end of regular season I’m happy.

There is a real possibility our teams will play twice this season.
