15 losses last year
13 the year before

15-13 the year before that

And? Teams have down periods, they still made is to the round of 32 the past 3 years and he's on the verge of another Final Four

This is 2025, the game has largely passed him by. Only concern is he, and his players, know it and know this is probably his last chance to get back to a Final 4. Doesn't matter AU is much better and will win.

MSU is still really good... but they'd be the 5th best team in the SEC, per NET.

No way Izzo wins today, Auburn will keep dunking on them, Sparty, no answer.

Gotta be the only conference that hasn’t then. He’s been to almost thirty dances and only has one title.

At the half, Auburn looks like the better team. Auburn needs to play fast and finish.

This is the first good team he's had since 2019. 6 years is a long time. He's 70 years old, you don't regain that magic in your 70s.

Agree. Usually coaches are fading by this age and hanging on. Good for Izzo to give it one more run.

That's fair, though he did make the Sweet 16 in 2022-23; and took KSU to OT.

It's quite possible he'll take this team to go out on a high note. Elite 8, regular season conference title. I could see him retiring after that, considering the past few seasons.

I think Tubby had his number

Is this just Elite Eight games?
