We always brag about how we are the dominant conference (and dont get me wrong, we are) but the polls and media disrespect us by putting crapping Boise State and TCU ahead of undefeated Auburn and LSU, just seems like we are losing our power status..I understand we are down as a whole this year but..COM'ON PEOPLE..WE'RE THE SEC..heck even Miss St. should be ranked in the top 10! whats going on?

Top 20? Yes

Top 10? Eh...

State could continue to make some noise though. Pull off an upset of Bama in T-town and then we're talking.

I think this is a result of Auburn and LSU not gettin much preseason love. They have both inched their way up the polls and whoever wins tomorrow could jump TCU.

LSU and auburn would thrash boise state.

oregon is the only team outside of the sec that will be able to beat LSU or auburn

Boise is not deserving because of who they play to be in the top 5.

But they are a pretty damn good team...

They will play with Auburn or LSU

Boise hasn't beat anyone worth a damn since Oregon, Sept. 3rd of last year.

How anyone could take them seriously is beyond me?

Am I the only person who thinks that if Boise State played against the 6 SEC west Teams that they would be LUCKY to go 3-3 and would more likely only go 2-4

Well when the 2 top ranked SEC teams go by the wayside, the teams below them tend to move up. The problem with the SEC this season is we don't seem to have a balanced team with both good offense and defense other than maybe SC who tends to TO at the end of games.

When your perseved top 2 teams loose early the first thing the media says is the SEC is down. That is not so because the East division has just made themselves equal to all the other Conferences in the Country and the West has all the power and strength this year. It is all about perseption with the media and when they get a chance to push another Conference over the SEC that is what they do is make the SEC have the same appearance as the rest of College football and we here in the SEC know that is not the truth.

The SEC West is stronger than any Conference in the Country and that is only half of the SEC. And look at it this way they are still saying that Bama as one loss team still have a shot of playing for the BCS NC over an undefeated Boise St or TCU. That alone speaks volumes for the SEC. There is not another Conference can have or carry that type of respect. We are The SEC!

The SEC has won like 4 in a row NC's. If you can't tell the bias to not have it be 5, then you are not seeing whats going on.
