Pretty embarassing for the Big Ten to have a member institution get absolutely bent over by the minutemen. I hope this will be brought up in the future by all the talking heads when arguing conference vs conference.

More embarrassing Rutgers gets a bigger payout then every SEC school from its conference

Biggest mistakes of Expansion:

1. Rutgers to the BIG 10

(GIANT GAP)

2. Maryland to the Big 10
3. UCLA to the Big 10
4. Stanford to the ACC
5. Cal to the ACC
6. Missouri to the SEC
7. SMU to the ACC

In hindsight, the SEC would have been better off with Clemson and the Big 10 taking Mizzou would have made far more cultural sense for everyone involved. Send Maryland back to the ACC, UCLA to the Big 12, and Rutgers should be in the American. Big 10 and SEC would both be at just 16 teams.... ACC wouldn't have had to take Stanford, Cal, and SMU.

absolutely bent over

That's not hyperbole – this game was legitimately not even close.

The Minutemen fell behind 7-0 early, then scored 30 unanswered points.

In the final minutes, Rutgers scored two garbage-time touchdowns to close the gap by 14, but for the majority of the game, it was never in doubt.

Trying to switch up the vibes today. Tired of hearing all the “lawyers” on this rant.

It’s football time.
