No comments on Tenn uniforms yesterday?

Ugliest game day uniforms I've ever seen. Top of the helmets looked like a bandage of some kind. I've always been a fan of tradition in college football uniforms. It's the brand of that particular team. Yesterday was way off brand. Just my opinion.

We bitched about them the entire game and there were other threads on the scoreboard.

Just going to completely overlook the entire SEC Scoreboard during that game huh?

What was the meaning of that jacked up Power T on the 50 yd line?

Tennessee's helmets were hideous, but A&Mos jersey took the cake for ugliness.

I personally think that Tennessee's uniforms are the worst in the conference so yesterday's throwbacks were a little respite on the eyes to me.

Seeing Tenn and A&M uniforms has really scared me that Ole Miss has switched to Adidas

Yet again, it takes a NAVY fan to bring sense to yet another absurd take. I’m going to type this s l o w l y. This was Tennessee’s take on observing the ONE HUNDREDTH anniversary of General Neyland’s becoming the head football coach of the Volunteers. Since they couldn’t use the actual uniforms and helmets used in 1926…yesterday’s uniforms and helmets were an approximation. So too was the logo.
Well done, Volunteers!
Well done, Volunteers!

They were pretty ugly but have you seen their normal ones?

Tennessee still retains uniform design control. Can’t blame this one on Adidas.
I haven’t been a fan of the Smokey Grays the last couple of years, I didn’t think they could get uglier than they were last year.
I will say, as ugly as the uniforms were yesterday, the details and tributes within them are a pretty cool nod to General Neyland.

This is what I read as well. Whoever is complaining is retarded. It was a one time, tip of the hat to the old days and Neyland.

Fantastic uniforms. Love the classic look paying homage to the past.

Do the schools not have a say in what their uniforms look like?
