LSU about to get sued by these guys?
It's what their lawyer said. The court decision is just sitting in Baton Rouge like it's just an inconvenient truth. The moment Kiffin refused to play these guys and officially filled out the roster, and now can't play them, he and LSU were in defiance of the verdict.

The SEC's behavior in this matter has been inconsistent with a tone of maliciousness from the start. Every message has been qualitatively different, with varying degrees of inaccurate and subjective. Making and/or re-interpreting rules on the fly. Conducting an intimidation campaign through the media. Using a fricking joke by a well known joker as evidence of Loss of Institutional control? The knives are out now; forget cooperation when everybody's watching their back. The NCAA is inept, but the SEC has rewritten the book on bad crisis management.
Amen...The inconsistencies here have been staggering and the hypocrisy is off the charts with paid, contracted professional basketball players at Bama and paid professional tourney winning tennis players at Texas. This is far from over and Sankey will prove to be an anchor around the SEC's neck.

How can even the craziest LSU fan believe they won this? LSU pissed off everyone in the conference, the SEC pretty much called out the President and AD for not getting their coaches under control, there was talk about being kicked out of the SEC, and LSU didn't get to sign the players they wanted.
I understand the SEC looks bad in all this too, but how is the SEC looking bad a benefit to LSU? In the end, LSU had to back down and you showcase the brilliance of your state by having the governor and senator saying things like, don't hate the player hate the game and on them like a hobo on a ham sandwich.

It’s not. It’s also not a benefit to any other program in the conference. Sankey could have dropped the stupid lawsuit the day that LSU cemented its roster. Instead, he kept going, and embarrassed himself, which should worry everyone in the conference.

Every other team in the conference is behind him. Similar to how all the Big Ten teams unite around the conference. LSU is the only one that thinks they should be above it all.

The clear winners are the attorneys who are going to FEAST on damages and the professional SUPER CONFERENCE that is going to supplant the SEC, Big 10, etc.

So why don’t he proceed with the lawsuit and vote like he said that he would?

By following the rules like they said that they would from the beginning? That’s weird.
