Right, so they will technically interview anyone.

The Yankees are confused.
Sideburns. No sideburns. Short cuts. Long hair permitted.
Nah, they just implemented their policy in 1973, and it still stands today. No facial hair except for mustaches. No hair below the collar.

and look what happened to his hair once he arrived in New York

This was him the previous season in Cleveland

Forgive me for speaking on your behalf. You asked me to.
And your argument that dredlocks are unprofessional for a college football head coach is the equivalent to black QBs aren't smart enough for the NFL.
Again, you asked me what your line of thinking is. There it is.
Everyone has to meet certain standards for their profession and it has nothing to do with race.
The only difference is some people blame race, and other people just do what they need to do.
When I was a teen I had pretty long hair. Then I joined the military. A requirement for that was - I had to shave my head. So it was a matter of what was more important. My hair, or joining the military.
So what is more important, his career or his hair?

I think it was Lou Holtz who once said, "There are two kinds of coaches. Those who have been fired, and those who are going to get fired."

No. Schools would hire a yellow coach if he would lead them to championships. Hire the best candidate not based on race. Should we be alarmed that 12% of the country is black, and that 75% of football players are black? No, because blacks are better athletically than whites in general. Just facts.

Cool, finally.

And it lasted 2 key strokes.

I'm probably wrong, because the news media tells me I am, but generally I think AD's try to hire the best candidate they can regardless of color or religious beliefs or whatever.
Except Tennessee of course, but that goes without saying.

well James Franklin could still be a HC in the SEC if he wanted to be.
SEC programs are looking to win. If a coach is good, they will get hired regardless of race.

America would be considered 98% African by DNA testing alone. Yep, it's true 98% of you on this board have African blood running thru your veins. You got Asian, European, Indian, Jewish, and on and on in you too. The racist shite is plain dumb! Hire a coach based on merit, but color of skin!

So basically, he shortened his hair slightly (still with the sideburns).
Like I said. Sideburns, no sideburns.
The Yankees have spent over a billion dollars in salary the past 10 seasons with 0 national championships to show for it. They are currently burning over $250M this season alone.
Maybe this is their year?
Given their resources, I'm hesitant to claim them as a good organization.

Teams have gone away from shaving freshmen players heads.
You want to know why? Dreds.
Times change. Hair is just hair.
Merit is more important.
Welcome to 2022.

Do you understand that everyone, not just people with dreds, has to maintain a certain appearance for their jobs?
What is acceptable may change over time, but that simple fact will not, no matter what year it is.

A black coach will show up in the SEC when a school finds one good enough and the color of his skin will not matter. Which ever school goes for a quota will be dead in the water.

Caucasians are deemed racist no matter the circumstance. Sick to death of this ignorant bullshite. A lifelong DemoRat I assume. How's that Biden vote working for ya? Eff hard work and just give it away for skin color. Brainwashed

You had Obama. That was your last chance at true leadership and a massive POS. Now the illegals are here and you are in third place. Asked for hand outs while you should have worked harder. Your time has passed. What a waste. YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY BUT FAILED TO CAPITALIZE. I was truly rooting for y'all. Maxine Waters says Hello
