Also, I believe I read on here where the kid was a Tennessee lock.
Mizzou outbids everyone on one guy and that 5 star gets y’all up to an 88.29 average. That’s good for 12th out of 16. That’s 1 5* and 1 4* and the rest marginal 3 *s. Not really a great blue chip ratio and Mizzous collective can’t buy much more right now.

Creating special State legislation to get an edge is a puss move. That said, it’s how all of NIL really started. Thanks Cali.
Don’t worry, there are ways around this. It will change when a school gets fricked over by a recruit. They only have to sign financial aid agreement to be eligible for NIL while in High School. That does not lock them into that schools.
What I wanna see is how Missouri acts if this player takes NIL money while in high school and then signing day flip and sign at another college and enroll early now that high school is over with and can be immediately eligible for NIL once an LOI is signed with school.
This new law will give other states advantages once other states do it, but not Missouri.

In their defense, that's covered, can become NIL eligible as of the February signing day.

What was the quote from the head coach at UGA regarding Missouri NIL laws?
I didn't see it anywhere in the thread.

How is paying high school students a good idea?

But my point is, right now Missouri is only team in the SEC that can hand money to High School kids right now. But once everyone else starts, so you think a recruit that has money and same rules is gonna like Missouri over Bama, UGA, UT, LSU? Right now Missouri as the advantage, but that will go away soon I would think.
