The reason the SEC sucks right now is because the coaches in this conference suck

NIL narrative is BS

Saban ejected at NIL foothills not by coincidence.

Sarkisian had Texas in SECCG because of NIL Lamborghinis.

Georgia has great coach.

LSU is potential national contender because of NIL and coaching.

Will stop there.

NIL is real. Coaches in SEC are not terrible. Some even benefit from NIL.

Sorry.

What makes you take Drinkwitz, for example, over Kelly?

That's nuts.

Eli has done more with less. And he hasn’t killed a kid.

Marcus Freeman won several playoff games against good teams. Something BK has never done.

Okay, it's pretty clear you're just trolling.

Carry on.

I personally think Kelly is an excellent coach, though I reserve the right to say otherwise at a later date in pursuit of pushing my own narrative.

I don't know if I'd say he's "excellent" but he definitely is at least above average.

A bad head coach doesn't win 70%+ of their games at 3 straight coaching stops.

The big issue is the portal because in no way would Florida be able to keep both Leak and Tebow today, Schools like Bama and UGA have no where near the depth they had 3 seasons ago. And we all see the results. UGA just lost to ND with Kirby as head coach. I could NEVER have imagined that. Bama just lost to a portal collection team.

Well said. SEC schools can’t sequester the best talent in the region like they once could. No more 4-5 stars waiting g their turn. They play now or are gone.

But NIL certainly helps lure kids across the country who would otherwise stay home.

Aren’t there only 3 current coaches who have won a national championship in all of college football?

Why do you think this is?

And didn’t Georgia lose their starting quarterback because of NIL?

This is true. The NIL argument is bullshite, though.

You left out Missouri, Ole Miss. and others. NIL has been the key to making mid level teams competitive.

Missouri and Ole Miss are more competitive now because they have better coaches than they had, not because of NIL.
