He's a prima donna punk, but Tenner deserves no sympathy here. All we heard the last 2 years was Nico this and Nico that. I'm sure that's all he heard as well, whether that came from fans, coaches or that Spire NIL group that just couldn't wait to spend their $$$ and look like saviors to the football program. Whether it's their NIL org or the McDonald's bags that came before them, Tenner is slimy and gets no sympathy from me.

Tennessee created the monster when they agreed to pay a kid from the other side of the country with no previous ties to the school or region what they did out of HS. This was the natural evolution of thy relationship

Yes. There's more to recruiting than just talent acquisition. LOTS more.

This is the one thing I don't like about the current state of college football. I'm glad we have some guys on Texas that love the university. But I'm aware we benefitted so much from the NIL.

At this rate, they shouldn't get free tuition anymore. They already get free tuition, and many get free out-of-state tuition, free high-quality food every day, free Nike clothes that would fill our closets, sponsorships, and so much more. Yet they are still ungrateful because they make $2 mil instead of $4 mil.

I am a UT fan and he is vastly overrated as a passer and fumbles too much as a runner. Honestly, he can leave

Sounds like Nico realizes he won’t be playing in the NFL and is milking every dime he can out of college.

What I find funny is that NIL is supposed to be money companies pay an athlete in exchange for sponsorships etc, where the value comes from the widespread fan support they have. What Tennessee fan, or any football fan for that matter, would want to purchase a product endorsed by a kid threatening to quit the team at the end of spring practice? It’s why NIL is a joke and these should be 4 year contracts like the NFL has.

Our QB was wearing Longhorn gear when he was a little kid. Get over yourself.

No accounting for terrible taste, like an LSU fan sporting the burnt orange.

I grew up and lived in Louisiana. Then I attended UT Austin. It isn't that difficult of a concept to grasp.
